NDP try outs

Technology is so infuriating nowadays.
I just type so much and its all gone with a click of the mouse.
Wonder where all the saved drafts go to.
Ok, i will stop rambling on and on about the limitations of technology.
Went for NDP try outs today.
Was kind of fun but i don't think i did very well.
Lets start from the beginning shall we?
Arrived in school right after Tuition.
Couldn't really concentrate during the lesson even though it was quite interesting because of my frazzled nerves.
Only three people from my level dared or could go for the try outs.
Wen Qian arrived first.
Followed by me.
Then Deborah Tan YC.
Because she was helping Wen Qian look for an extra bun net.
But to no avail.
So Wen Qian had to be bun-netless.
We took a ride in Deborah YC's car and reached Evergreen Secondary quite quickly.
Deborah's mother was really hospitable and nice. :)
When we arrived there, we had time to spare and revised some possible commands.
Then we had to fill up a form.
We had to appoint an I/C .
And were given tags that read a certain number.
We were part of a squad of about 90 something people and we fell in, in the courtyard.
We were tested on senang, sediya, kekenan, kekiri, kehadapan, keblakan and long turning commands.
At first, i couldn't hear the commands clearly and did not really focus, resulting in me being slow and almost doing wrong commands.
Subsequently, however, i began to be able to do the commands given to me more efficiently.
This was followed by a break where we drank water and ate biscuits we brought.
Two girls who had participated for last year's NDP also shared their experiences with us.
However, we did not pay much attention as they were speaking too softly and we could hardly hear.
Next, we were separated into four groups.
We did an additional command- hentak.
And the commands that we did earlier.
Then it started to rain.
While doing one of the long commands, i almost made a mistake again.
One of the sirs happened to see and shot he a disapproving look while waggling his finger.
I felt kind of embarrassed for making that mistake and therefore, lost my focus.
Thus, i missed the next command that was given quite quickly after the previous one.
That sir saw my error again and said something like: "I know this weather is very good for sleeping but please don't fall asleep."
I felt so humiliated.
But i guess i probably did look a little tired from sleeping late last night and waking up so early today.
He probably wanted me to try a little harder or sth.
So i will just classify it as "constructive advice", for my own good.
I tried even harder to concentrate from then on.
It was so cold during our next break that my bones were freezing.
The rain was pelting down so hard that i thought it would corrode the
ground.
The lightning was so glaring i thought everyone would become permanently blinded by it.
The thunder was so deafening that i thought everyone would never be able to listen to the birds sing any more.
The floor was so wet i thought i would be able to swim in it
And the sky was so dark i thought the sun would not come out again.
Haha ok maybe i was exaggerating but it was really cold, the lightning was very bright, the thunder was blaring and the sky was quite dark for a rainy day.
After that, we went back to the same place to practice.
But as i said, the floor was so wet that it was hard to keep from slipping.
While doing kekenan lurus, i almost fell when one of my legs slipped out from under me while banging my foot on the ground.
I was extremely suprised as i did not expect this to happen because that was the first command we did there.
After one or two more commands, the ma'am noticed our difficulty and asked us to go into the shade.
It was much easier there but the floor was still slippery.
So i still almost slipped a couple of times.
We did marching commands and belok.
We took turns to be the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person.
When i was the first person and had to march around the point, the girl who was in another school kept following the row in front of her no matter how much i told her to FOLLOW ME.
I felt so irritated with her as Deborah, who was at the end of the line, had to follow her as she could not reallly see where i was. therefore, our line was a mess as i was silghtly behind them when beloking.
But maybe it wasn't her fault.
She might not have known or understood what i was saying or might just have chosen to ignore me instead of following my advice.
Soon, the try outs were over.
It had passed so quickly, we could not believe it.
However, sadly, we could only know our results on about next wednesday or so.
It was kind of drizzling a little or maybe it was just water dripping from the tip of the leaves, the after effects of the rain.
Wen Qian and i did not bring our umbrellas thus we had to share Deborah's light blue one.
Obviously, it could not fit all three of us so naturally, either Wen Qian or i had to get wet.
Deborah Tan YC was the owner of the umbrella and she had the privilage of not having to become wet.
However, in the end, she was still a little drenched.
Wen Qian was holding the umbrella which kept poking into my hair so she was saved from being wet too.
That left only me.
So by the time we reached the bus stop, i felt like a drowned chicken.
Although Wen Qian kept inviting me to stand under the umbrella, i declined as there was no space to stand.
I didn't know which MRT to take as i first thought i should take the MRT Wen Qian was taking. however, i saw the board and thought i should take the one Deborah is taking instead.
However, when that train came, i called my mother and was told i should take the one Wen Qian is taking instead as it is faster.
So, i waved goodbye to Deborah and went back to where Wen Qian was sitting.
We spent lots of our time on the MRT talking about the Angel and Ward game and the try outs until Wen Qian alighted.
Finally, after a few more minutes, changing trains and some stops, i arrived home.
You are probably bored to death by now.
Sorry for telling you a long grandmother's tale of what i did today.
Maybe you probably skipped the middle and came right to the end. Haha.
Ok, my eyes are tired from staring at the computer screen for so long.
So i'll let you off this time.:)
Bye!!!

And there is no way i'll let you hurt me again.
